“We’re going to play a wonderful game called… “Who is my daddy and what does he do?”” – Det. John Kimble
Number of Times Seen – 3 (Theater in 1990, Video and 22 Dec 2013)
Brief Synopsis – A detective goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher to find the ex-wife and child of a recently released murderer before the convict does.
My Take on it – I hadn’t seen this movie in close to 20 years, and now I remember why…this movie is very mediocre and not as entertaining as one would expect from an Arnie movie.
There are a few funny lines and situations which make the movie bearable, but we don’t really get to see a very believable story.
There are many movies where suspension of disbelief is essential to the movie working, but this isn’t a sci-fi or fantasy movie where that is desperately needed; this is a detective movie that takes place in the real world and here it just isn’t very believable.
I don’t know why Arnie was chosen for this role because there are many more capable actors who could have made the role much more believable.
This is NOT Arnie’s finest hour and there are plenty of better movies with him in it that you can choose from if you want a good 2 hours of entertainment.
Bottom Line – Truly a mediocre Arnie movie. It’s pretty comical that he was chosen for this role. There are plenty of much better Arnie movies to choose from.
Rating – BAFTA Worthy

Agreed. This is neither entertaining nor good.
As to why Arnie was cast? Probably because he was at the peak of his star at the time, and it was guaranteed to make to money.
