The wonderful Zoe from Sporadic Chronicles of a Beginner Blogger and I have decided to invite you all to participate in a brand new Blogathon that we will be conducting during the month of August that will be solely dedicated to the 53 movies of the grandmaster of thrillers – Alfred Hitchcock who would be celebrating his 115th Birthday on 13th of August!
In order to join in, first sign up for a movie (or 2 or even 3) from below by commenting and then send us your review by 27th of July to either hitchcock@movierob.net or sporadiczoe@hotmail.com.
We hope to have (at least) 1 review for each of these movies, so please try to choose a movie not yet chosen on the list below.
We thank you for your participation and hope this will be as much fun for you as we think it’ll be for us!
Rob and Zoe!

Hey!! I’m totally in, but I have no clue what to pick. Can you, O Most Definitely A Smarter Person Than Me Hitchcock-Wise recommend me something that could be accessible? 😛

Hmmm.
My favorite Hitchcock movie is Lifeboat (1944), but I’d also highly recommend Rope, The Man Who Knew Too much, The Paradine Case and The Trouble with Harry to name a few.
In general, it’s hard to go wrong with Hitchcock, so anything you choose should hopefully be enjoyable to you.
Thanks for joining in!

What a wonderful idea for a blogathon! Can I please write about The Pleasure Garden? I’ve never seen it before and now I’m interested to see what his very first film was like!
I also have a little write-up on Mrs Doubtfire ready to go for the favourite kids films blogathon that I missed out on! 🙂 Should I send that over to you as well or just post it up on mine?

You see, this was all part of an elaborate Hitchcockian plot on my part. I KNEW, like, a year ago that Rob & Zoe were doing this blogathon. I planted brochures for Mexico around your house then, through subliminal suggestion, made sure you’d choose to go JUST as this Hitchcock blogathon was announced. BWAHAHA! My evil plan worked!!!!! :-p
(Rob – I’ll take Marnie if it’s still available?) ; )
