Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (2009)

“Clark, what the hell are good villains? ” – Batman

Brief Synopsis – After Lex Luther is elected President of the United States, he demands that all metahumans register themselves. Batman and Superman oppose his policies and become wanted fugitives.

My Take on it – This is so far my favorite of the DC/WB animated superhero movies that I’ve been watching recently.

I loved the premise and eventhough parts of it are similar to what Marvel just did with Civil War, it still has its own clear voice.

The action that pits hero against hero is done well and we can see how difficult it is for them to fight one another despite each side believing that they are on the right side.

Was so happy to see some of my favorite DC heros pop up here to try and stop the fugitive duo; Captain Atom, Power Girl, Caotain Marvel and Black Lightning are all great here.

Thr voice cast makes this even more powerful and memorable; Tim Daly, Clancy Brown, Kevin Conroy, Xander Berkley, Allison Mack, Levar Burton and CCH Pounder are all superb and add a new level to the storyline.

Bottom Line – Great storyline that pits hero against hero in a similar vain to what Marvel just did. Really enjoyed seeing Captain Atom, Power Girl, Black Lightning and Captain Marvel in this. Excellent voice casting helps make this even better. This is one of my favorite DC/WB cartoons so far. Highly recommended!
