Brief Synopsis – A couple meet unexpectedly in Paris and romance ensues which changes both of their lives in ways they never thought.

My Take on it – This film has an intriguing way of telling it’s story, but something constantly seems off. Billy Crystal is an amazing comedic actor, but even though he was perfectly cast in When Harry Met Sally… (1989), it doesn’t automatically transform him into a leading rom-com actor. This film is further proof of that because he has no chemistry with co-star Debra Winger and it’s quite hard to even imagine them as a couple. The film has great cameos by numerous basketball players and the scene with the cop is a favorite of mine, but besides that, this film doesn’t have much to offer which is shame.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The film includes on-the-court scenes with real-life basketball stars Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sean Elliott, and David Robinson among others. Star and co-creator Billy Crystal grew up with Abdul-Jabbar, played basketball as a youth, and is a longtime fan of the Los Angeles Clippers plus a regular attendee of their games. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (5/10) (no change from original review)
