Brief Synopsis – After a stranger shows up in a small mining community, he must help the people deal with a greedy mining company owner who wishes to take away their profits and land.

My Take on it – Mediocre Clint Eastwood western that isn’t powerful enough. The characters mostly seem like caricatures and stereotypes for this kind of story and never manage to help make it more interesting to watch unfold. The cast is great with Chris Penn and Richard Dysart playing characters very much against type. Always love seeing Richard Kiel in films and he is fun to watch here. The action scenes are fine, but there isn’t much about this film that truly helps make it stand out. The dialogue shows potential, but ultimately, things aren’t as profound as one might hope for.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The highest-grossing western at the box office made and released during the 1980s. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (5/10) (no change from original review)
