Number of Times Seen – 2 (on DVD and 10 May 2013)
Brief Synopsis – A French sewer rat helps a bumbling wanna-be chef prove that “anyone can cook”
My Take on it – I am sorry to have to admit that although this movie was really good, it doesn’t live up to the Pixar name and history and isn’t as good story-wise. Fortunately, the animation is once more amazing and the guys at Pixar have another technical win to notch on their belts.
A-list voice talent (as always) was great. Patton Oswalt, Brad Garrett, Ian Holm, Peter O’Toole, Janeane Garofalo and Pixar good-luck charm John Ratzenberger all did an exemplary job.
Perhaps I didn’t like the movie as much as previous Pixar flicks because the rats seemed so real 🙂
This movie once again won Pixar an Oscar for Best Animated Feature
Bottom Line – Not as good as the previous Pixar films, but the animation is amazing and worth seeing
Rating – Globe Worthy
