Brief Synopsis – A young black man is recruited into a society that helps White people stay calm and happy in the world.
My Take on it – Really strange film that doesn’t work at all. The movie is meant as a satire, but fails to be funny in the ideas that it tries to bring forth. The cast is fine and only David Allen Grier stands out, but he is underused here which is a shame. The story moves along at a horrendously slow pace which makes it even harder to try and care about what is happening throughout. The only positive thing about the film is its use of magic within the story, but that loses its momentum along the way too.
