Brief Synopsis – A cocktail waitress stops an assassin form killing a Arab leader and is given a job in the State Department.

My Take on it – This is a pretty silly film that doesn’t work very well. The story doesn’t age well and even if it was seen in a better light 40 years ago, it just feels too unrealistic. The politics shown in this film comes across as being a bit more genuine than one might expect, but the way they do it fails to resonate well enough. Goldie Hawn was perfectly cast in this kind of film at the time but even that can’t help make this film any more bearable to watch unfold due to the strange things that happen here.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – During the operation scene when Sunny Davis (Goldie Hawn) is having a bullet removed – the chief surgeon (wearing a surgical mask and eye glasses) appears to be and is voiced by co-writer of the film, Buck Henry. A brief but distinct close-up of an assistant masked surgeon would appear to be and is voiced by Chevy Chase (Goldie Hawn’s romantic co-star in two previous films – Foul Play (1978) and Seems Like Old Times (1980).) (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy (4/10) (no change from original review)
