Brief Synopsis – The rollercoaster ride of a friendship between a man and a woman spanning 12 years.

My Take on it – I gotta start this by saying that I truly LOVE this movie.

It is by far my favorite rom-com ever not only because we grow to love the characters for all their faults and quirks but also because we get to watch them grow over the twelve years that they know each other.

Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are perfect as Harry snd Sally and I have so much trouble picturing anyone else in either role. Their timing and chemistry together is as close to perfect as possible.

The fact thst director Rob Reiner and writer Nora Ephron injected so much of their own real personalities into Harry and Sally makes it feel even more realistic because there really are people like them in the world.

My biggest complaint about this movie though is the fact that it’s too short. Spending 95 minutes with Harry and Sally just isn’t enough!!!!

Bottom Line – One of the best rom-com ever made because it feels so realistic. The Reiner-Ephron collaboration is amazing especially knowing that the two of them injected so much of themselves into the characters.  Crystal and Ryan are amazing together and have unbelievable timing and chemistry together.  Highly recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The concept of Sally being a picky eater was based on Nora Ephron, the scriptwriter, and so years after the movie came out, when Nora Ephron was on a plane and ordered something very precise, the stewardess looked at her and asked “Have you ever seen the movie ‘When Harry Met Sally’?” (From IMDB)

Rating – Oscar Worthy (no change from original review)
