“I knew Harvey Dent. I was his friend. And it will be a very long time before someone… inspires us the way he did. I believed in Harvey Dent.” – Jim Gordon
Number of Times Seen – 3 Times (6 Aug 2012, Jan 2013 and 14 May 2014)
Brief Synopsis – Gotham is taken over by the Evil Bane and Batman must join forces with Commissioner Gordon to save the city from chaos.
My Take on it – Christopher Nolan’s finale to his Batman trilogy, really brought all the cards to the table. Nolan continues to do what he does best and that’s tell a great and compelling story.
He completely took the whole Batman/Bruce Wayne story to a whole new level and he made this final installment no exception to that rule.
With this movie, he bring in new characters played by Thomas Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard to complement his already plush cast. He even brings back some characters from the previous movies to give them a bit of closure,
Nolan once again created every aspect of this movie in top form and especially the special effects were amazingly done.
Very intense movie that only evokes the many thrills of watching an amazing movie; Truly a movie-lover’s movie!
It was bittersweet watching this movie knowing that this would be Nolan’s last entry into the series. He will be sorely missed in the genre and I’m sure that we all will be looking forward to his future endeavors.
Bottom Line – Great ending to the trilogy. Nolan’s genius in the world of Batman will be missed. Highly Recommended!
Rating – Oscar Worthy

This movie was freakin’ epic. I know a lot of people had problems with the plot and the script, but for me, all of those issues went away once the movie got going. And boy, did it ever get going! Good review.

Another phenomenal review as always Rob! LOVED these movies, Nolan is a genius. The one thing that never really sat right with me in this though was Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. I LOVED Tom Hardy as Bane though, so amazing!

Great review, Rob! This one didn’t quite surpass The Dark Knight in awesomeness, but I’d say it was a great end to an incredible trilogy. I wish Nolan would direct Batman Vs. Superman. I’m a little worried Snyder is gonna mess Batman up…

anyone but Nolan will mess it up I’m afraid, but I think he is all superheroed out for now, so we’ll just have to hope for the best.
