“Where we gonna find a toilet? ” – Jackson
Number of Times Seen – Who knows??? (Lots of times on cable,31 Mar 2009 and 16 Jul 2015)
Brief Synopsis – After a board game millionaire’s death, he challenges his potential heirs to a scavenger hunt to determine who gets his fortune.
My Take on it – As a kid, I loved to take part in treasure hunts, scavenger hunts and all sorts of adventures.
One day, I accidentally came across this movie on cable and it very quickly became one of my favorites in the “hunt” genre.
I would watch it over and over because I constantly enjoyed the way that this movie is able to combine humor, adventure and drama all wrapped up in a contest.
The list of recognizable actors in this movie both in small roles or main roles is unbelievable; Dirk Benedict, Willie Aimes, James Coco, Roddy McDowell, Richard Benjamin, Scatman Crothers, Cloris Leachman, Cleavon Little, Richard Mulligan, Tony Randall, Arnold Schwarzenegger Stephen Furst, Richard Masur, and Vincent Price.
I always secretly wished that this movie would be longer or at least give us a chance the see the entire list of items needed by the teams.
Regardless, this is a really fun movie that always keeps me laughing all the way through.
Bottom Line – Such a fun movie that combines humor, adventure and lots of famous actors to give us a highly entertaining film that keeps you in stitches right until the end. Amazing concept that could have been even longer but works amazingly. Highly recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The character Marvin Dummitz and the story of Mr. Parker’s business partner having had the misfortune to hail Dummitz’s cab and never making it to the meeting is a parody of the real-life story of Melvin Dummar and Howard Hughes, which was later told straight in Melvin and Howard. (From IMDB)
Rating – Oscar Worthy

Would you say this is better than Midnight Madness? I saw that recently and wasn’t impressed (sorry). I like a good scavenger hunt, though.
